The Boys-An Update
I know I havent posted in a long time. I have been too busy, working crazy hours, and just kind of tuned out of the blog thing. I thought I'd update on the boys at least. I am a lot more regular on my Facebook, but not everyone who comes here is on it.

Sinan is our oldest and he is doing fine. We are working on potty training him. Children with Autism can be hard to potty train, but Alhamdulillah, things are going okay. He is so tall now, Masha'Allah, he can easily pass for five or six. He is as cute as ever.

Sayf turns three on April the 24th. We are doing a party at his pre-school and something smaller at home with close family. He is talking up a storm and some of it is just TOO cute.

He is really into animals and can name many of them, moose, bear, polar bear, giraffe, elephant and many, many more. He is getting into the anatomy and knows all about manes of his hoorses, the antlers on his deer and moose, and hooves on the horses and zebras.

Like all small kids he has some words that dont come out right, but sound so cute. He loves Dinosaurs, but it comes out "Die-Doors". His sister's name is "Filzah" but it comes out "Doe-Da". He is putting together some long sentences, one of his favourite being "not now, later" if you ask him to do something he doesnt want to do.

His hairy is a dark golden blond that certainly has a lot of red into it when it is in the light. We are growing it long, it looks cute with the curls. Eventually it will go into a ponytail, ala international football (soccer) players.

mA yes you are more regular on fb so we can see your boys growing up but looks like your Sayf is going to be a ladies' man! (And I mean it in the good way!)

AA Abu S&S,

So glad to see your update. I try to periodically check with your blog and Manals to see how the kids are doing. Alhumdulillah everyone is good and I also was able to relocate Saffiyah! I can no longer link to you from Carol (Amer. Bedu) ??? Peace to all! Tina

Salaam Alaikum,

Nice to see the pictures, masha Allah as always.

My youngest nephew also has autism, it took a while to potty train him too, but they got there in the end.

Assalaamu Alaykum,

I’m looking for converts who have written their conversion stories or are willing to write their conversion stories and would be interested in having them posted online.

The website I work for (www.readingislam.com) is dedicated to non-Muslims who are seeking information about Islam and new Muslims who are looking for support. One of my assigned sections is conversion stories and so many new Muslims and/or seeking non-Muslims have found inspiration there.

Would you like to be the inspiration for someone?

Email me at mollyannelian [at] gmail.com and I will reply via the official editors email if you are interested.
