As a father of two children with Autism I can tell you how tough it can be to get proper care for them. Most insurance companies do not cover the VERY expensive treatment they need to have a hope of leading a productive life.

There is a measure on the floor of the law making body here in Virginia to REQUIRE insurance companies to start covering some of these treatments. There is a link below to a site with information about who to contact in the state government to push for passage and a petition that must be signed by 8/22.

Please stop by and at least sign the petition. For those of you who have more time please make a call to the people involved or write a letter.
